Home made remedies for wrinkles

Home made remedies for wrinkles

People who do not want to see wrinkles on the face get the laser treatments done. They get the surgery done or at times they do the botox treatment one where filling is done on the skin. Such treatments have a lasting period of as much as ten years. Still the visible appearance is lesser than natural wrinkles. If one doesn't want to go under the knife, one can try some natural ways to reduce the appearance of the wrinkles.

  • Aloe Vera Gel for wrinkles- Cut an aloe vera leaf and scrape off the gel with a spoon. Apply the gel to your skin.
  • Avocado replenishes your skin with vitamin E to give it moisture and elasticity. Puree the avocado flesh and apply as a mask on your face. Let it work for 10 minutes and rinse.
  • Puree the pulp of half an avocado. Add a tablespoon of lemon juice and stir well. Add one whipped egg white and stir until you have a paste. Apply and let work for 20 minutes. Wash with warm water and then rinse with cold water.

Upper lips wrinkles

Upper lips wrinkles

Lips have many underlying living tissue layers. These connective layers are attached to the skin surface that surrounds our lips. When these deep tissues become dehydrated, they begin to constrict, pull, and tug the skin around the lips unnaturally. This results in what I call a"drawstring effect" as seen in this photo to the right.

As the tissues beneath your lips begin to shrink and wither from extreme and prolonged dehydration (they are in a state of atrophy), this shrinking causes a drawstring effect, because it pulls the tissue to which it is attached (tissues beneath your upper lip lines), and because the skin above your lips is attached to the tissues being pulled and drawn downward, "puckering" of the skin occurs, which we refer.

A near-perfect treatment is something that I have named the “Lip Rescue”. With some carefully placed filler, Botox, and a moderate peel, the look can be nearly eliminated. The use of a retinoid or glycolic that will turn your cells over faster and increase normal dermal depth (skin thickness) will help it to continue to be smoother and healthier. The mouth lines will diminish greatly. One caveat: make sure you choose a practitioner who is an expert at placing Botox in this area. Too much can be disastrous and will persist for over a month, though it would seem like a life time.

Home made remedies for lips wrinkles

  • Hydrate your skin by drinking plenty of water throughout the day in order to plump up the wrinkles and make them less noticeable
  • Cocoa can help improve the appearance of wrinkles. It contains high amounts of the compounds epicatchin and catechin that improve circulation, hydration and help the skin feel and look smoother.
  • If your lips are very dry and chapped, use a moisturizer of sugar, baking soda or cornmeal; apply it to your lips with a toothbrush, rubbing the mixture in circular motions. Rinse with water.
  • To make an anti-wrinkle remedy, mix turmeric and sugar cane juice into a paste. Apply this to the area around the mouth and leave it until it dries. Remove with a wash cloth. Or smash an avocado and apply it to the skin. Leave it for 20 minutes before washing off. You can also try mixing a 1/4 cup of comfrey infusion with 1/4 cup of witch hazel and 10 drops of patchouli oil. Apply this to the skin with a cotton ball.
  • For a temporary fix, separate egg whites and apply the whites to skin. Let dry and wash off.
  • Use lip balm to protect your lips and keep them moist and hydrated.
  • Stay out of the sun, or use a strong sunblock. Sun damage contributes to wrinkles on the upper lip and to wrinkles on the rest of your face.
  • Get a chemical peel on the upper lip. Go to a qualified esthetician for an alpha hydroxy peel. This removes the top layer of skin and after healing, you'll see smoother skin underneath.
  • Facial exercises specifically designed to strengthen and tone specific parts of your face. To help keep your lips smooth and free of wrinkles on upper lip try this exercise.

Eye Wrinkles

Eye Wrinkles
For many people, the development of under eye wrinkles and crow’s feet signals the end of our youth. These wrinkles in our skin might also be viewed as wrinkles in our personality, wrinkles in our attractiveness. It’s true enough that eye wrinkles are signs of aging. Even in our twenties our skin loses some of its elasticity and its ability to retain moisture and natural oils. As we age, our drier skin begins to wrinkle.
The earliest eyelid aging changes are eyelid wrinkles called crow’s feet which we see on the corner of our eyelids on the cheek when we smile. Later these wrinkles extend across the lower eyelid and up into the upper eyelid. Later the upper eyelid skin becomes lax and begins to sag or droop and eventually covers the beautiful upper eyelid fold and begins to form an eyelid hood or eye hood which eventually can compress the upper eyelashes and obstruct vision. Eye hoods or eyelid hooding can also be made worse by the descent of the sagging eyebrow.
Fortunately there are many things we can do to prevent these eyelid aging changes before they occur or reverse these changes early without surgery. If however advanced eyelid aging changes occur, there are excellent modern laser and surgical eyelid rejuvenation procedures available to restore the eyelid to a youthful appearance.
Home Remedies for Eye Wrinkles
  • Grape seed oil contains ingredients that are healthy to skin. The natural ingredients that lie in the grape seed oil can fight against wrinkles and refill the skin with energy. Besides, it also has antioxidants that can restore the damages which caused by ages. That’s the most important reason why so many women are inclined to use grape seed oil to reverse their skins.
  • Vitamin E also can prevent the occurrence of wrinkles in a perfect way. One obvious feature of Vitamin E is that it can supply your skin with a lot of water and lubricate your eyes area. The thick oil of Vitamin E can effectively help you alleviate wrinkles in a short time, as well as prevent the occurrence of new wrinkles.
  • I addition to the two remedies I mentioned, you can also use coconut oil to prevent the growth of wrinkles. You can rub some coconut oil on your wrinkled area, stick to doing this for a period and you will see an obvious result.
  • The last remedy is cucumber. As I mentioned in my previous articles that cucumber is helpful to puffy eyes, it does good to wrinkles, too. Just put cucumber slices on your wrinkled area for a short time, and your skin and eyes will refreshed afterwards.
Eye Wrinkle Treatment

    Causes of wrinkles

    Causes of wrinkles

.Unfortunately, there are some factors that determine if we’ll have wrinkles that are out of our control. There are genetic factors, as some families simply wrinkle more than others, while those with fair skin and blue eyes are more likely to suffer from sun damage which can promote wrinkles. This doesn’t mean, however, that those with darker complexions are less likely to have wrinkles, however.

Over-exposure to UV Rays cause skin to get dry and even crackly. Small wrinkles on your skin are the result of these little cracks. Avoid sun-tanning, and apply sunblock when you go out.Whether because of work or a love of outdoor activities such as cricket, sailing, or sun bathing, are equally susceptible to sun damage. Unfortunately, there is no such thing as "safe tanning", so sun worshipers are likely to run the risk of developing wrinkles wherever they expose their skin to the sun. Smoking can also damage the skin and lead to wrinkles.
Skin becomes saggy when you lose too much weight at one go. Wrinkles are a result of lines formed when your skin folds over. Maintain a regular diet; don’t go on crash diets or intense weight-loss regimes.
Consuming too much alcohol overworks the excretory system, causing skin to age faster, consequently leading to the premature surfacing of wrinkles.

Women tend to develop more wrinkles around their mouths than men do. That may be because women have fewer sweat glands and glands that secrete an oily matter known as sebum (sebaceous glands) to lubricate the skin and fewer blood vessels in this area.Nutritional deficiencies are believed to contribute to skin aging or wrinkles.

    Wrinkles

    Wrinkles

As you age wrinkles settle on your skin. This is nature. Your skin would have a tendency to loosen and show up wrinkles all over. Women worry about this to a greater extent than men. The wrinkles tend to make people look older with age.

Wrinkles are lines or creases on the surface of your skin. They are a natural part of aging. But even young people's skin can develop wrinkles if it's damaged by too much sun or by smoking.

Normal healthy skin has a nice epidermis with a smooth cornified, or outer, layer that acts as a good barrier to water and environmental injury. Skin color and tone is even and unblemished. Components such as collagen (which provides skin firmness), elastin (which supplies skin elasticity and rebound) and glycosaminoglycans or GAGs (which keep the skin hydrated) are all abundant. It is interesting to note that under a microscope a biopsy of a wrinkle exhibits no telltale signs that reveal it to be a wrinkle. So what causes the skin to look wrinkled? It is probably a multi-factorial process of intrinsic aging and extrinsic aging.

Intrinsic aging is the natural aging process that takes place over the years regardless of outside influences. After the age of 20, a person produces about 1 percent less collagen in the skin each year. As a result, the skin becomes thinner and more fragile with age. There is also diminished functioning of the sweat and oil glands, less elastin production, and less GAG formation. Wrinkle formation as a result of intrinsic aging is inevitable, but it will always be slight.

How to get rid of whiteheads

How to get rid of whiteheads

You must be patient to get rid of whiteheads.

Just like in the garden, you should wait until they are ripe and juicy before you harvest. If you attempt to pop them too soon, you will most likely smash the mix of bacteria, oil, puss, and dead skin down further into the pore, which can lead to infection and even scarring. Some say not to pop the whitehead – but you don’t see them walking around with a social stigma on their face. Popping is a safe way to get rid of whiteheads if you know what you are doing. Are you supposed to wait until it squirts onto your supper? I don’t think so.

If you’re going to get rid of a whitehead, you’ll need the tools of the trade.

Find a clean rag, a sewing needle, some sterile gauze or cotton swabs, some hot water, and a bottle of alcohol. An adhesive bandage may come in handy as well, especially if your whitehead looks big enough to win first prize at the state fair.

Now it’s time to wash your hands and face with hot water and mild, noncomedogenic soap.

It is important that your hands and the area around the whitehead are sterile so it won’t become infected. After you are clean, wet the rag in hot water (if it isn’t already) and gently press it against your whitehead for a few minutes. This will open up your pores and sometimes this is enough to get rid of the whitehead. If it breaks, gently wipe up the ooze and skip to the last step.

Sterilize your sewing needle with the alcohol and gently prick the whitehead with the tip.

If you want, whisper some trash talk as you do it. Once the whitehead is punctured, place a strip of gauze or a cotton swab on opposite sides of the whitehead. Slowly apply pressure until either clear liquid or blood comes out. Once that is done, you have rid yourself of the whitehead.

Lastly, soak a gauze pad in alcohol and gently wipe the area clean.

In this way, you will protect yourself against infection and scarring. If you want, now’s the time to apply an adhesive strip, but if your skin is easily agitated, I would just leave it and be mindful to watch for any more drainage, as the bacteria in the departed whitehead could spread to nearby pores.

    Whitehead

    Whiteheads

Whiteheads are composed of lipids/oils and sebum, that combine with cellular fragments. Because whiteheads tend to be more solid than liquid, they plug the hair follicles and grow in size, sometimes developing into painful acne cysts. Whiteheads are closed from the skin's surface by cellular debris at the follicle opening. Because they have no contact with oxygen, they do not oxidize or turn brown, as blackheads do. They form a light or yellow-white lump and are called milia (or milium, singular). Bacteria enters the follicles, leading to acne infections, especially cystic acne.

    Difference between blackhead and whitehead

They both are clogged pores, however a blackhead known as an open comedone, takes on a darker color because the sebum and debris have oxidized. A whitehead, known as a closed comedone, has not reached the surface and has not oxidized (a reaction when a substance hits oxygen). There are also pustules where inflammation and pus (infection) are present. A papule is a red, inflamed bump with no noticable pus.
